eigenfactor.org is a web-site that is trying to use eigenvector centrality methods (like Google, supposedly*) to rank the impact of a journal vs. other journals.

I read the methods paper. It seems sound, though I didn't go through the paper in detail.

*Google did this when they started. They probably still do this, to a certain extent, but they do not release their ranking algorithm.
